Drawlloween 2024

Drawlloween is a community art event that happens on Instagram once a year hosted by artist Mab Graves. She provides daily prompts for the whole month of October. This year I chose to focus on “play”. I wanted to challenge myself to play more and worry less about things being cohesive. I did my best to try different subject matter, to push beyond my initial instincts and to play with different brushes and styles. The goal was to find joy in the work I created and that was a success.
